BLINDFOLD SPORTS DAY" - ABHINADAAKSHA TRINETRA KREEDA DIWAS, was witnessed by our parents on 23.02.2023, where their child perform blindfold sports activities. We had a surprise drill, sports Event, Fun Games and Food Stalls. Our Chief Mentor, MDji, himself flag off the event and encouraged our students.

A wonderful carnivores plant show exhibition was held in AKLAVYA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL where exotic species of plants like Venus Fly Trap, Pitcher plant, Utricularia, were placed on display for students' learning on 20th of October 2022. This exhibit was visited by over 400 students from across Achariya institutions of Pondicherry. Orchid Metha and NatGeo fame wild life photographer Navaneetha Krishnan, patiently explained why and how these plant ingest insects. The Botany teachers accompanying the students also explained the process by which these plants capture and ingest insects as food. The Principal of AKLAVYA expressed her sincere thanks to Orchid Metha for sharing such a resource with the school.

Dandiya Night brings in festive mood, a spirit of celebration sets in the air as the people all over India dressed in colorful attire, glamorous accessories and super sense of style take on dance floor. The folk songs, the vibrant traditional clothes and the sticks accelerate the emotion of euphoria. This festival brings in enthusiasm, keeps us mentally healthy and gives us a reason to look forward to real happiness. It is sure shot method to make friends,/learn team spirit and synchronization As a part of Navarathri celebrations, AKALVYA, had Dandiya ight for the students and parents.

A three- day International India’s Movement to Unite Nations State level Conference of Puducherry commenced on 28th July 2023, Friday. The Conference was hosted by Aklavya International School with Dr.Pawan Dwivedi, a renowned educationalist and esteemed Deputy Registrar of Parul University as the chief guest. The event was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. J. Arawindhan, founder of Achariya World Class Education, Senior Principal. Mrs.Sugandhi Viswanathan.

It was inaugurated by our Supreme Chief Mentor Dr J Arawindhan and Chief Guest Mr. NISHANTH KALIDINDI, an Exclusive Film Director & Producer in our new Auditorium at Thengaithittu. This is a first-of-its-kind global film festival held in schools across 15+ countries from 2017. It utilizes visual storytelling for the whole school transformation and introduces students to the magic of films to inspire and educate. IKFF is an opportunity for students across the globe to WATCH, LEARN and MAKE Films.

WATCH the best of international childrens films - 70+ films from 20+ countries in 15+ languages. The films are curated by educators and film professionals and categorized based on the age, theme, genre, themes etc. LEARN the art of visual story-telling A film making certificate course curated especially for students. Film workshops & master classes designed to introduce students to the nuances of filmmaking and give them an insight into the art of filmmaking. MAKE films for a student filmmaking competition IKFF encourages future film makers through its international competition. IKFF Partners with Busan, Giffoni, Seattle,Lucas.

Dr J Arawindhan said that this kind of Film Festival especially for children, expose them to world cultures, issues and stories to build empathy and acceptance thus creating future ready citizens. He also said that it is indeed a privilege to extend this facility to neighbourhood school students reinforcing the concept of Vasudeva Kudumbakam. The Principal of Aklavya International School said that Schools and students get exclusive access to films that are relevant and age-appropriate. Since the screened films are not available on mainstream platforms it is indeed a privilege to showcase High quality films which focus on sensitisizing children to moral and ethical humane values.

Our Aklavyan's of Grade 9&11 students collaborated with KEEP NAMMA PONDY CLEAN, an organisation which intent on building awareness on Solid Waste Management at Pondy Beach which was flagged off by Municipal Commissioner and visited SANITATION PARK towards material recovery facility for educational purposes.

Our Team of 20 Students from participated in the Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Satellite Launch Vehicle at Devanari Village, Mahabalipuram ECR, Chennai on 19th February 2023. * And the world's first Hybrid Rocket was successfully launched at the very first attempt and it was witnessed by our AKLAVYANS.

Happy to share that our Aklavyans Rajas and Ranis taken ownership over their Skill projects, reflecting on their progress and accomplishments. Students exhibited their problem solving, creativity, In-Depth understanding, Self-confidence, Critical thinking, Curiosity etc. in their Skill Project.
